Karin has over 15 years in the hospitality industry. She has traveled the world from Saudi Arabia, Germany, Egypt, Alaska and now resides in Colorado Springs. Karin graduated from Culinary School at Johnson & Wales University with a Bachelors in Hospitality Management. Events and Customer Service are Karin's passions.
Lori L. Shook - Catering Sales Manager
Lori is a 35 year veteran of Colorado Springs. She has been married for 25 years and has 2 handsome boys. Lori has planned many events, enjoys working with people and is very detail oriented. Lori came to us as an event planner for a large fundraising event that was held at the Marriott in December 2010 for 400 people. She fell in love with the hotel and is excited to be part of the Marriott team.
Nate Say - Executive Sous Chef
Chef Nate Say has been working in professional kitchens for over 11 years but his passion for food goes back to his early childhood. Born in rural western Pennsylvania, he grew up in a family heavily rooted with culinary traditions and time spent in the kitchen and around the table. Unlike his peers, he was spending his free time during his high school years working in professional kitchens and honing his skills. Wanting to further his career he moved to Pittsburgh, PA where he graduated from Pennsylvania Culinary Institute with an associate's degree in Culinary Arts. He currently resides in Colorado Springs and has been with the hotel as the Executive Sous Chef now for over 3 years.
